What makes us different?
Smaller group sizes
We welcome a maximum of 18 dogs per day, allowing us to truly get to know each pup and provide the attention they deserve. Unlike larger facilities that may care for over 100 dogs daily, our smaller scale ensures a calmer, more personalized experience.
Daily outdoor adventures
Dogs enjoy structured outings to private parks, local trails, or our fully fenced farm property. These off-leash adventures are designed to provide safe freedom, enrichment, and the chance to run, sniff, and play in nature.
Low staff-to-dog ratio
Our team maintains a 1:6 ratio, meaning one staff member for every six dogs. This level of supervision allows us to manage group dynamics safely and ensure each dog receives meaningful interaction and care.
Enrichment-focused care
Our days are thoughtfully structured to include a balance of physical activity, social time, rest, and mental stimulation. From group walks to training games and quiet moments, we help dogs feel fulfilled and happy by the end of each day.
Cage-free environment
All dogs are free to roam, play, and rest throughout the day. We don’t use kennels during daycare hours, giving your pup the freedom to socialize and explore in a comfortable, home-like space.
Open and honest communication
We believe in keeping you connected to your dog’s day with regular updates, photos, and report cards. You’ll always know how your pup is doing, what they’ve been up to, and how they’re growing socially and emotionally.
Safety First
At Dexter’s Kingdom, we’re committed to creating a safe, healthy, and positive environment for every dog in our care. That starts with clear health requirements and a knowledgeable, experienced team. All dogs attending daycare must be up to date on their Bordetella, Rabies, and DHP vaccinations to protect both your pup and their playmates from preventable illness. We also require that all dogs be spayed or neutered by 18 months of age, which helps support a balanced, low-stress social setting for the group.
Our staff are more than just dog lovers — they’re trained handlers with real experience and education in canine behavior, safety, and group management. Each team member is equipped to recognize social cues, prevent conflicts, and offer individualized support based on each dog’s needs and comfort levels.
